A succession of talented, beautiful, seductive women surround this troubled genius as he struggles with the ever-decreasing circles of his floundering existence and relives an unattainable past, recalled only through music. Maury Yeston's score is lush, soaring and stylish; the production is a feast of colour, costume and dancing.
